阿加莎不喜欢这块地方，她一有能力便离开了这里。然而，命运将她安插于此，准备下一任行政官的竞选。
这所房子里还住着弗罗伦斯和她的老公、孩子，还有米姆纳——维昂诺娃一家在阿尔及利亚独立时从阿带到法国来的女佣。
米姆纳的儿子卡里姆，跟朋友米歇尔张罗着给阿加莎拍一部纪录片，筹备他们的“成功女人”系列。
