简　　介

　　由于受不了严谨的校纪校规，女孩伊莎贝尔（凯特·哈德森 Kate Hudson 饰）毅然离开了电影学院，过上了她所渴望的自由生活。伊莎贝尔的姐姐罗茜妮（娜奥米·沃茨 Naomi Watts 饰）定居于法国巴黎，身怀六甲的她惨遭画家丈夫查尔斯（梅尔维尔·珀波 Melvil Poupaud 饰）的背叛，愤怒的罗茜妮决定离婚，她给伊莎贝尔写了一封信，希望自己的妹妹能够来到自己身边，支持和陪伴她度过这一段艰难时期。
　　一次偶然中，伊莎贝尔结识了名叫埃德加（蒂埃里·莱尔米特 Thierry Lhermitte 饰）的法国外交官，尽管埃德加已经是一个七十岁高龄的老人了，但伊莎贝尔依旧拜倒在了他的慷慨大方和风度翩翩之中。尽管伊莎贝尔和埃德加之间的恋情并不被他人所看好，但伊莎贝尔依然坚持着自己的想法和信念，直到某一日，她发现，埃德加竟然是自己的亲戚。
