【内容简介】

　　江文是清朝大内侍卫,一天有幸偷偷瞧见蓓蓓格格的花容月貌,心动不已。蓓蓓格格遭拐骗到美国新大陆,绑匪要求清朝皇帝付出十万条金条才肯放人。

　　于是清帝派出三名大内侍卫高手带着赎金前去搭救,江文也得以跟着御用翻译官的叔叔一起前去!

　　在美国内陆,江文先是与印地安人闹出绯闻,后是结识了欧洛伊这名俩光的火车抢匪,两人一起闹出许多笑话,还被西部警长追杀。

　　最后终于从坏人手中救出格格,而格格也不愿再回到中国,江文与欧洛伊都赢得美人归!

　　故事发生在清朝，蓓蓓公主（刘玉玲 饰）由皇帝主婚，必须嫁给皇族亲王，公主心里十万分的不愿意。这时，不怀好意的英文教师安德鲁看出了公主心意，怂恿她出逃美国。公主出逃后，安德鲁留下了一封勒索信给皇帝，所要赎金十万金条。
　　这下皇帝慌了神，马上派出三名大内高手带上赎金前往美国营救公主。大内侍卫黄强（成龙 饰）在公主出逃时曾见过她，不过并没能拦下她，对公主一直不能忘怀。于是，他请求当翻译的叔叔为他说请，让他参与营救行动。侍卫队长批准了他的请求，一行人正式踏上了美国。

　　这不愧是成龙的影片,一直打斗不停。历史呈 现出多个层面,引人深思。服装和化妆很出色,音乐选择完美,外景拍摄惊险动人。成龙总是能把人逗笑,让人吃惊,动作神速,特技惊险,天生幽默。我最喜欢看的场面是印地安男女演员扮演的印地安人。天天影视中国演员主要由中国人来演。征用中国劳工修铁路,这可没给美国公众脸上贴金。这些是历史“进步”过程中的凄惨时刻,很高兴影片再现了这段历史,因为有很多人不知道中国劳工用征来修铁路。对喜欢成龙或西部片或动作片的人来说,这部影片非常值得观看。

Plot:    A 19th century Western. Chon Wang is a clumsy Imperial Guard to the Emperor of China. When Princess Pei Pei is kidnapped from the Forbidden City| Wang feels
personally responsible and insists on joining the guards sent to rescue the Princess| who has been whisked away to the United States. In Nevada and hot on the trail
of the kidnappers| Wang is separated from the group and soon finds himself an unlikely partner with Roy O'Bannon| a small time robber with delusions of grandeur.
Together| the two forge onto one misadventure after another.
Rotten Plot:    Although the plot is really nothing to brag about, Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson work well together. The cinematography looks great, and Jackie delivers a hilarious performance. This is an old-fashioned crowd-pleaser.
