中量级拳击手文森·邦德里奥与卡撒·多明哥是最要好的朋友。但是，两个人已经一年多没有工作了，整天无所事事。就在他俩感到茫然无措的时候，他们得到了一个在拉斯维加斯出场的机会，将在举世瞩目的迈克·泰森拳王争霸赛上打一场垫场比赛。根据协议，他们每人可以拿到五万美金的出场费，胜者还将有资格出战中量级冠军争夺战。
　　改变两人命运的机会来了，但前提是他们必须在当晚赶到赛场。于是，两个钻进女友格雷斯的汽车驶上了高速路。车子蜿蜒行进着，不知哪里出了叉，竟然驶入了沙漠。想着眼看到手的钱就要飞走，本来就狂躁暴烈的文森与卡萨终于闹翻了，他们互相指责起对方，而格雷斯的好斗性格更是火上浇油……
　　这场风波好不容易平息下来，半路他们又让一个风骚女人利娅搭了车。利娅显然是一颗定时炸弹，有了她，这一路注定更不平坦。时间已经不多了，拳台上的对抗现在成了关注的焦点。第一回合比赛的钟声迟迟不能敲响，观众们仍在等待文森与卡萨的出现，现在的问题是，他们还来得了吗……

　　难兄难弟云斯(活地夏里逊饰)与凯撒(安东尼奥班达拉斯饰)同是二流职业拳手，陷于半失业状态，正当他们意兴栏栅之际，拉斯维加斯临时急需两名拳手，而此赛事奖金丰厚，更让他们一尝当拳王的心愿。二人银斤短缺，幸好凯撒女友姬丝(罗丽坦大卫杜维兹饰)有辆开篷钱七代步，于是三人一起上路，在途上闹出不少风波。当他们遇上乘顺风车的神秘索女莉亚(刘玉玲饰)，路途更节外生枝。究竟云斯与凯撒能否顺利赶到拉斯维加斯，达成在擂台上夺标的梦想？
